I write hard military science fiction — character-forward war novels in the vein of The Forever War, Battlestar Galactica and Andor.
The Black is one story told across four eras: The Fracture, The Arrival, The Convergence and The Reckoning. The Reserve runs alongside the opening movement, with the crews who were never meant to be called up.
The shorter work sits beside it. The Whisper Line is fleet-action shorts from other ships, a fresh crew every entry; Tales from The Black looks at the same war from its edges.
